2/16- DAY 3- (B,D) Breakfast at hotel. Today we enjoy a full day to Giza. We get to know the Egyptian capital with a tour of Cairo's most emblematic sights. We begin at the Giza plateau, home of the three great pyramids, built over 4500 years ago and one of the seven wonders of the world! Explore the pyramids and learn about their fascinating history as you walk in the past footsteps of the ancient pharaohs. We continue to the Sphinx and and the Temple of the valley to unearth yet more secrets of ancient Egypt. Dinner and overnight in Cairo

Alexandria is a Mediterranean port city in Egypt. During the Hellenistic period, it was home to a lighthouse ranking among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World as well as a storied library. Today the library is reincarnated in the disc-shaped, ultramodern Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The city also has Greco-Roman landmarks, old-world cafes and sandy beaches. Its 15th-century seafront Qaitbay Citadel is now a museum.

FULL DAY CAIRO
2/18- DAY 5 (B,D)
Today we spend a full day exploring Cairo! One of our stops will be the Egyptian Museum. This world-renowned museum is home to the largest collection of jewels, relics and statues from the golden age of the pharaohs. End the day with a walk through the lively Khan el Khalili neighborhood, home to the largest bazaar in the city. Overnight stay in Cairo.
Later in the afternoon we visit the Citadel, Old Cairo and Mohamed Ali Mosque.

FLIGHT FROM CAIRO TO LUXOR FOR NILE CRUISE
2/19- DAY 6 (B,L,D) Breakfast at your hotel. Check-out. After breakfast we visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor before embarkation and beginning our 4 night cruise. Settle in to your cabin and enjoy the views of the river on this amazing 4 night Nile River cruise.

2/20- DAY 7 (B,L,D)
Breakfast on the ship. We sail across the west bank, visit the Necropolis of Thebes, The Valley of the Kings as well as the Valley of the Queens. The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. We then sail to Esna, cross the lock and sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on the ship.

2/21- DAY 8 (B,L,D) Breakfast on the ship. Docked in Edfu today to enjoy the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Spend some time exploring the temple, dedicated to the Egyptian god of Horus. It's one of the best-preserved monuments in the country as its imposing structure has been protected by the desert sands.
* We then sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. See the amazing Nilometer, used to measure the rising and falling of the Nile, an important source of life in Egypt.

2/22- DAY 9 (B,L,D) Breakfast on the ship. After breakfast we sail to Aswan and visit the Granite quary, home to an unfinished ancient obelisk and High dam of Aswan. We visit the Temple of Philae, view of the Elephantine Island by Felucca and visit of the Agha Khan Mosoleum. Overnight in Aswan.

2/23- DAY 10 (B,D) Breakfast on the ship. After breakfast we disembark from our ship, transfer to airport for our flight back to Cairo. Dinner at hotel and overnight at the Le Meridien Airport hotel (or similar).

2/24- DAY 11 (x) As our flight departs at 1:55am, we will advise the night prior what time to have luggage out the door and what time to be in the lobby for departure. Flight home.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
**An Egyptian tourist visa is required and will be provided to you. The cost of the visa is included in the price of your tour. You will be required to fill out the proper forms. We will submit them for you.
**A valid passport with at least 6 months expiration date from your return date is required. You must obtain a new passport if the expiration date is less than 6 months.
